3-5-10 Cameron Karting and Marin Karting form the only full service kart shop in Bay Area

It is with great excitement that two of the longest standing Bay Area kart shops, Cameron Karting and Marin Karting have merged to offer Northern California karters a complete, full service kart shop. The new entity will operate under the Cameron Karting name at their current trackside location at Infineon Raceway. Combined, the new Cameron Karting will comprehensive services including:

kart sales: Italkart and CRG Dealers
kart part sales
engine sales: Rotax, IAME, Honda, TM
trackside kart storage
authorized service and repair for all types of motors including Rotax, TaG and Moto
kart service for all makes and models
trackside support
driver coaching
kart scaling
and much, much more...

With 40 years of combined racing and motor building experience, two of Northern California's most knowledgeable karting experts, Brett Buckwalter and Kris Shaw will combine forces to provide customers with premiere motor work, driver coaching and racing knowledge. Buckwalter is currently racing in the ProKart Challenge (PKC) North S1 Moto class and was the 2009 PKC Tag Pro Champion. He is also a former national champion in 80cc shifter,125cc shifter and TaG. Shaw is a former SKUSA Pro Moto Tour national champion and has recently raced Rotax at the highest level, the 2007 Rotax Grand Final held in Dubai.

The Northern California Rotax Challenge previously administered by Marin Karting will also be folded into the merger. The first of a ten race season opens at the Jim Russell International Karting Center (JRIKC) at Infineon Raceway on Sunday, March 21st. Additional information about the series will be released shortly.
